Sierra Hull

Friday, October 16, 2026 | 7:30 PM | Tickets $55 – Day of Show $60

There is a short list of mandolinists who have changed what people think the instrument can do. Sierra Hull is on it. She was performing on the Grand Ole Opry by age ten, signed to Rounder Records as a teenager, and became the first woman ever to win the IBMA Mandolin Player of the Year — seven times over. Her latest album, A Tip Toe High Wire, earned four Grammy nominations and features Béla Fleck, Tim O'Brien, and Aoife O'Donovan. Her work spans bluegrass and Americana in ways that have drawn collaborators from Alison Krauss and Dolly Parton to Brandi Carlile and Billy Strings. If you caught her NPR Tiny Desk Concert, you already know what's coming.

She's an artist we've been trying to get on this stage for a long time. For most of the year, Sierra Hull plays rooms many times our size. We are so grateful she looked at our 25th anniversary season and said yes. Our season opener will be one of the most intimate settings she steps into all year.
